This streetlight power tap adapter works with any luminaire that utilizes a photocontrol and locking type receptacle. It installs between the photocontrol or shorting cap and the ANSI C136.10 receptacle to provide constant AC power to attached equipment. Sold without connector (bare wire to ancillary equipment power interface), but is available with other connector types, different cable length, and different DC/AC/POE outputs.
For use with wireless equipment, surveillance cameras, traffic monitoring, gunshot detection, and other communication and UPS (uninterruptible power supply) systems.
Contact us for use with voltage regulators (e.g., to provide a specified DC voltage) and other outdoor battery backup UPS systems.
Key Features
- The voltage of the output cable will equal the luminaire voltage where the power tap is used.
- Includes 10 ft bare wire cable (connector can be user specified)
- Simple twist-lock installation; does not interfere with normal luminaire photocontrol operation
- Compliant with ANSI C136.10 for roadway/street and area lighting
