The Series FP283A Power Tap Adapter is compatible with any luminaire equipped with a photocontrol and locking-type receptacle. It installs between the photocontrol or shorting cap and the receptacle to deliver constant AC power and is commonly used with 120-240 VAC luminaires.
Designed for use with wireless equipment, surveillance cameras, traffic monitoring systems, gunshot detection devices, and other communication or uninterruptible power supply (UPS) applications.
Contact us for use with voltage regulators (e.g., to provide a specified DC voltage) and other outdoor battery backup UPS systems.
Key Features
- Provides constant AC power (receptacle input voltage equals cable output voltage)
- 20 ft, bare wire, 16 AWG 2 SOOW cord (durable and ozone, aging, and abrasion resistant)
- Simple twist-lock installation; does not interfere with normal luminaire photocontrol operation
