XL 1040 ComfortLink II Zone Thermostat

Manufacturer Part Number: TZON1040AC52ZA

The TZON1040AC52ZA is a three-wire communicating zone sensor with a 4.3-inch diagonal color touchscreen for ComfortLink II zoning systems. It displays zone temperature and relative humidity while allowing zone setpoints and schedules to be managed through the 1040, the 1050 control, or Trane Home. Multiple zone temperature sensors can be averaged for the relevant zone. A clean-screen function, backlight options, and screensaver choices support convenient everyday use without changing its role as a zone interface.

The thermostat operates with Auto-only zone mode and Auto or On fan selections. Schedule override, Permanent Hold, zone naming, and three restricted-access levels provide ways to tailor local operation. Outdoor temperature display requires Trane Home registration or a wired outdoor sensor. Fahrenheit or Celsius presentation is available, and over-the-air upgrades are delivered through the 1050 control. The source specifies operating and storage conditions, but does not identify housing color or independent Wi-Fi; this is a communicating zone device within a compatible system
