The gateway allows the control of the main AC functions via infrared commands. Communications are based on a simple ASCII protocol that can be easily implemented in the form of a driver into Home Controllers or Smart Hubs.
With drivers already available from many Home Automation platforms on the market, Air Conditioning units can be easily integrated and controlled.
Third party applications can get in touch with Intesis WMP protocol through an IP connection using ASCII protocol. The WMP protocol will allow control and monitoring of On/Off, mode, temperature , fan speed among others for the AC unit.
