The PR60 by Eaton Tripp Lite is a precision-regulated AC-to-DC power supply designed for two-way radios, VHF/UHF communications equipment, transmitters, test benches, and other 13.8V DC applications. It converts 120V AC input power into a regulated 13.8V DC output, delivering up to 48A continuously and 60A intermittently. Its low-profile enclosure is designed to fit alongside compatible radio equipment, making it suitable for radio base stations and communications installations.
The PR60 incorporates solid-state voltage regulation, crowbar overvoltage protection, and current-limited electronic foldback with automatic time-controlled overload protection. A red illuminated power switch indicates when DC output is available, while its terminal-post output connections support ring terminals, U-style connectors, or bare wire. The unit is designed for a 120V AC electrical supply and should not be connected directly to a 230V AC mains outlet without an appropriate approved voltage-conversion arrangement.
