TADPT2 (CL-IM08A )Thermostat Adapter allows the connection of 24VAC thermostats to Samsung HVAC systems. When controlling two indoor units with this thermostat interface adapter, indoor units are controlled as a group, not individually and the two indoor units should be in the same space as the thermostat.

TADPT2 connects to the F1/F2 system communication line, therefore it does not need to be installed on/in the indoor unit(s). Central controls (DMS2, DMS2.5, MIM-H03UN, MCM-A300N) cannot be used to control indoor units when using TADPT2 but monitoring only.

This adapter offers basis control of Power (ON/OFF) and Mode, Heat, Cool, Fan (Auto, low, medium, High). TADPT2 can be configured to operate Samsung indoor units as primary heating source, secondary heating source, or cooling only with heat from an external source.
