Express Card to USB Port Adapter

Convert an Express Card device to work in a USB slot in your computer!
This device allows customers that do not have ExpressCard slots to use the ExpressCards through the USB ports on either their laptop or desktop PCs.

Extended Use
The ExpressCard is a smaller and faster version of a PCMCIA card. It offers the perfect solution for customers who do not have an ExpressCard slot on their computer but want to take advantage of high speed mobile broadband. The only requirement is an available USB port.

No Extra Drivers or Software
The device is transparent to the computer and does not require any additional firmware to be installed. Once an ExpressCard is inserted into this device and the device connected a USB port, the Expresscard will behave as if the card is in an ExpressCard slot. All conversions between the ExpressCard and USB are done transparently by the intelligent integrated hardware. It uses the same software and drivers that come with the ExpressCard product.

Caveat Emptor
This device does NOT support native PCI-Express interface devices such as SATA interfaces, Gigabit Ethernet, Firewire, Memory modules etc. Standard cellular data cards (aircards), LAN cards and various other cards that rely on internal USB 2.0 interface are supported.
