Amana DD01A occupancy sensor and door switch combo device is an infrared sensor that can determine when the room is occupied. When empty, it signals the PTAC to adjust the temperature based on programmable setbacks to save energy. The setback function is a part of the DigiSmart standard Energy Management System in the DigiSmart PTAC control board.
Key Features
- For it to operate, the in-room PTAC must be equipped with a DigiSmart gateway antenna
- Powered by 2 AAA batteries that are included in the kit
- It communicates to Amana DigiSmart devices via an encrypted 2.4 Ghz signal 802.15.4 standard
- DigiSmart EMS software can be set in up to 100,000 set-back combinations to maximize energy savings
