700MHz-2700MHz Wide-Band Log Periodic Yagi Antenna

Write a Review

The Top Signal Wide Band Log Periodic Directional Antenna will collect the cell tower signal and send it through the cable to an amplifier, cell phone or cellular data card. When the cell phone or cellular data card transmits, the signal is transferred to an amplifier or directly to the antenna and broadcast back to the cell tower.

The main benefit of the this unique multi-band Yagi antenna is its ability to focus its signal in one direction leading to the greater gain figures. This antenna is designed for use on stationary objects such as buildings. If this antenna is not correctly aimed, it will lose its effectiveness. This unique multi-band directional antenna covers the entire spectrum from 700 MHz to 2.5 GHz and can be used for all cellular frequencies including 700 MHz LTE, 1700/2100 MHz AWS, 850 MHz Cellular and 1900 MHz PCS bands, Euro/Asian standard 900 and 1800 MHz bands, WCDMA 2.1 GHz, Nextel 800 MHz, and the 2.5 to 2.7 GHz WiFi/WiMax band.

This directional ultra wideband log periodic antenna covers a very wide frequency range with high gain. Because it covers both cellular, PCS, WiFi and WiMax worldwide frequencies, it is very useful for CPE equipment and base station equipment needed for these frequency bands minimizing the amount of equipment needed for each service location. This antenna can be used indoors or outdoors and comes complete with all components needed for pole mounting or wall mounting (does not include the pole - see FMW4/YMST4.) The sealed housing is UV stabilized ABS plastic. The backplate is stainless steel with stainless steel fasteners. All bracket components are stainless steel as well for corrosion protection. The pigtail is 18" outdoor rated cable terminated with an N/Female connector.

Cable: This antenna includes no cable
Phone Adapter Cable if connecting directly to a cellular phone

The antenna includes no cable. For a short run of 20' you can use our 20' RG-58 coax extension which has the appropriate connections for the Yagi. Please note that our other RG-58 cables can not be directly connected to the Yagi antenna.

For longer runs, we suggest using one of the below lengths of Ultra Low Loss LMR-400 Cable. This cable is fairly stiff so if you plan on connecting the Yagi directly to your phone with an antenna adapter we suggest you also include an 5' RG-58 extension. The below cables may also be connected together using the N-Female to N-Female barrel connector.

The primary difference between RG-58 and LMR-400 is the dB signal loss. RG-58 loses approximately 12dB/100' while LMR-400 loses about 4dB/100' (which is a big difference).

LMR-400 Extensions Cables:

20' LMR-400 Cable
30' LMR-400 Cable
50' LMR-400 Cable
75' LMR-400 Cable
100' LMR-400 Cable
A phone adapter cable is required to connect to your phone.
