The built-in battery backup module supports an external 12V lead-acid battery, allowing the connected equipment to continue receiving DC power during an AC mains failure. When mains power returns, the supply resumes powering the load and provides current-limited charging to the backup battery. Protection against short circuits, overloads, overvoltage, and overheating, along with temperature-controlled fan cooling, helps ensure reliable operation. The backup battery is sold separately.
