CyberPower MBP20A6 Maintenance Bypass PDU

The PDU is designed to give a seamless switchover from the mains power supply to UPS supply and allow for continous operation of connected equipment by the press of a button. This allows for maintenance, battery replacement and component replacements to be done without loss of service. The devices are supplied by 6 rear mounted NEMA 5-20R receptacles giving 100-120 VAC 20A output (derated to 16A).

A 6-foot AC cord connects to utility power; a 3.3-foot AC cord connects to the output power of the UPS. The UPS draws input power from the MBP20A6 through a dedicated NEMA 5-20R separate from the outlets for connected devices. When the switch on the front of the MBP20A6 is turned from Normal to Bypass, or from Bypass to Normal, the power that the MBP supplies to connected devices moves from one input power source to another. The LED display indicates which power source is active.
