Carrier non-programable thermostat
This Carrier non-programable thermostat is quite expensive. But, I am so impressed with it I have now bought two. I have owned the first one a few months now. It holds a medium-sized heating zone, rock solid at the desired temp, wavering only 1/2 a degree. We are retired, and home all the time, so I don't want the complexity of a programmable unit. Also, the dedicated buttons for 'mode' and 'fan' mean you don't have to navigate through a menu to change those items either. The current temp number is large, and the target temp is medium sized. I read lots of reviews on big-box stores of the 'other' brand, some units failing after a few months and/or temperature being one or several degrees high or low, we do not have those problems. One of my old units 'other' brand was off by three degrees on actual temperature displayed, though it was 15 years old. I am very happy with this unit. it is a bit pricey, but worth it.
