The BT-CAT5-P1 Midspan/Injector Kit provides a reliable Power-over-Ethernet solution with a 56VDC @ 117.6 Watt power supply, ideal for various applications including access points and IP cameras.

This commercial grade Power-over-Ethernet device allows you to power PoE-equipped devices using a single Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for separate power and data cables. It supports IEEE standard PoE pinout and features integral surge protection.

The HyperLink BT-CAT5-P1-56118 Single-Port CAT-5 Midspan/Injector kit, also known as a PoE Passive Splitter, is designed to provide DC power for one PoE-equipped device. It is compatible with access points and other equipment that support the IEEE standard PoE pinout (Pins 4&5 Power + / Pins 7&8 Power -). This device can be used as either an 'Injector' to send DC power through the Ethernet cable or as a 'Tap' to extract power for non-PoE devices. It includes integral lightning and surge protection, shielded RJ45 jacks for EMI noise suppression, and an industrial-grade cast aluminum housing for durability. The kit comprises the injector/tap and a 56VDC @ 117.6W power supply (PS56118-25R).
