The BT-CAT5-P1-4870 Single-Port CAT-5 Midspan/Injector kit (also known as PoE Passive Splitter) is designed to deliver DC power through a single Ethernet cable to PoE devices, reducing installation costs and complexity. The device can function as either an 'Injector' to send power or as a 'Tap' to draw power for non-PoE devices. It includes integral surge protection for both data and power lines, ensuring reliable operation even in adverse conditions.
