This Power-over-Ethernet injector kit eliminates the need for separate power and data cables, allowing for a single Ethernet cable to supply both data and power to devices such as APs and IP cameras.

The BT-CAT5-P1-4848 Single-Port CAT-5 Midspan/Injector kit, also known as a PoE Passive Splitter, is designed to provide DC power for one PoE-equipped device. It is compatible with devices that support the IEEE standard PoE pinout, making it an ideal solution for powering devices without the need for an AC outlet at each location. The device can function as either an Injector, sending DC power through the Ethernet cable to a remote device, or as a Tap, which extracts the injected power for non-PoE devices. The kit includes integral surge protection for both data and power lines, ensuring device safety.
